During the 2012 East Coast Music Awards, MGImedia President Jeff MacArthur was a guest speaker on the “Let’s Get Digital” music panel. The panel also welcomed guest speakers Stephen O’Reilly (Mobile Roadie, London, England) and Brenden Mulligan (Onesheet, San Francisco, California) and was moderated by Darren Gallop (Marcato Digital Solutions, Sydney, Nova Scotia).
The panel focused on how artists can leverage affordable, user-friendly tools to cultivate artist-to-consumer reach, and grow their career. Led by a top-notch array of music industry digital experts, this interactive session examined to great success the latest trends in the Music I.T. revolution and what new digital platforms the music industry is using to maximize the reach of artists. The panel also discussed the depth to which artists and industry professionals are leveraging innovation, and how artists can embrace new technologies in order to win fans, sell music, earn revenue, and reach a global market.
